Automotive Detailer

Job Description

The Automobile Detailer cleans new and refurbishes previously owned vehicles & cleans customer vehicles as needed. Knows how to apply the appropriate aesthetic treatments to prepare new and previously owned vehicles for delivery.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• The ability to meet delivery deadlines
• Wash vehicle exteriors of new, used & customer vehicles
• Wax and buff the surface with non-abrasive products if needed.
• Wet send vehicle exterior.
• Vacuum and clean interior of vehicles using appropriate cleaners, applicators and cleaning equipment.
• Apply revitalizer and preservation agents to vinyl or leather surfaces.
• Clean engine and engine compartments with steam cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents to remove grease and grime.
• Apply touch-up paint to chipped body surfaces if needed.
• Highly proficient in quality and quantity of work volume.
• Perform other tasks, based on management requirements and instructions.
• Meets company standards for detailing quality.

Requirement

• Two to three years of Detailing experience
• Wears our company uniforms at all times
• Is on time for work daily 7:30 am
• Valid Driver License
• Reports all incidents to Service Manager
• Works Saturdays as per Managers schedule.
• Extra hours may be required at Dealers month end to meet delivery times.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
