Mō tēnei tūranga | About the Opportunity
We are offering an exciting 15-month fixed term opportunity for an Automotive Purchasing & Inventory Coordinator based at our Whareroa Service Centre. In this role, you will support the Whareroa Fleet and play a key part in our Services Team.
This position involves both office and store-based responsibilities. Attention to detail and strong computer skills are essential, as you will manage inventory and process purchase orders for truck and trailer components. You will also perform a variety of hands-on store tasks, including receipting inwards goods, picking and packing orders, cycle counting, handling warranty claims, conducting reconciliations, and ensuring efficient inventory operations within our parts store.
Additionally, this role requires providing remote support to other sites, with occasional travel as needed.

You're a fast learner with a proactive approach who is able to work independently and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Your strong communication skills allow you to build effective relationships across teams and with external partners and you take ownership of your work, stay organised and thrive on delivering results with accuracy and efficiency.
Key skills include:
- Experience in an inventory role.
- Experience working in a workshop, warehouse or retail environment (maintenance repair overhaul preferable).
- Ability to work well with little supervision.
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy (ideally around SAP and Microsoft Suite, including Excel and Word).
- OSH certified, forklift licence and F endorsement.
