Av Installation Technician

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Installation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform installation tasks for AVI-SPL contracted projects including but not limited to: cable pulls, cable terminations, system equipment and components, rack fabrication and wiring, layout for equipment. The Installation Technician would be a member of our installation crews involved in ensuring projects achieve time, scope, budget, quality, safety and customer satisfaction requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Pre-wire for residential and commercial projects.
  • Actively seek to resolve any concerns while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior.
  • Ensure company goals and objectives are being met.
  • Address customer concerns in reference to products, services rendered or employee interactions.
  • Oversee and maintain truck inventory and cleaning, and other supplies as needed.
  • Responsible for handling and proper use of tools and ensuring proper maintenance.
  • Previous low-voltage integration experience and/or study preferred.
  • Reads and interprets blueprints, diagrams, floorplans, specifications, and operational/products manuals.
  • Final installation and system configuration for residential and commercial projects.
  • Installs and terminates low-voltage cabling.
  • Installs and sets up audio/video, network, security, light control, window covering equipment.
  • Interacts with clients, builders, and other industry professionals.
  • Customer service and product support.
  • IT and technical support of supplied and installed equipment based on training provided by Glubes.
  • Support of the sales and installation directives to all members of Glubes AVU team.
  • Assistance in evaluation of new products and emerging technologies as requested.
  • Other tasks requested by management.
  • Travel to various job sites required

As part of this role Glubes AVU may need to alter work hours at work locations as necessary. Work hours may vary based on client requirements and may include travel to various locations in support of the project. This position will generally work on customer sites and may deal with a construction site type of work environment.

  • technician: 1 year (preferred)
