The Role

• Oversee staff of a lower grade during shift
• Assist and work with employees during service
• May assist line manager with rostering as required
• Supervise and allocate tasks to employees during
  shift

The Person:

• Manage and lead the day-to-day operations of the bar and tavern facilities
• Assign and monitor daily tasks for bar staff, ensuring smooth service delivery
• Oversee POS systems for order management, sales tracking, and reporting
• Provide guidance, training, and support to bar and hospitality staff
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment
• Conduct performance reviews and ensure high standards of service are maintained
• Ensure responsible service of alcohol, including identifying when to cut off service
• Maintain compliance with HACCP and operational safety standards
• Respond to and report safety hazards, promoting a safety-first culture
