Location: Bend, Oregon
Compensation: $36–$38 per hour

The Westman is an independent boutique hotel opening this fall in Bend’s historic post office building. At the heart of the hotel is Minnie’s, our intimate lobby bar serving craft cocktails, curated wines, and a creative small plates menu. Named for Minnie Westman, the first female mail carrier west of the Mississippi, Minnie’s embodies her pioneering spirit—bold, magnetic, and a little rebellious.

We’re looking for a dynamic Bar Manager to lead Minnie’s and put their mark on this special space. This is a rare opportunity to shape a bar program from the ground up in a setting that blends history, design, and hospitality.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead daily bar operations with a small but talented team
• Hire, train, and inspire staff to deliver outstanding service
• Manage inventory, supplier relationships, and licensing
• Collaborate with hotel leadership to align Minnie’s with The Westman guest experience
• Keep the bar fresh with creative promotions, events, and seasonal offerings
• Foster a welcoming, safe, and fun atmosphere for both guests and team

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous bar or restaurant management experience (boutique/independent preferred)
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• A hands-on manager who thrives in a small-team environment
• Creativity and passion for building both a bar program and a guest culture
• Ability to work peak service hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Hourly Pay: $36–$38, based on experience, great benefits package
