Barber: Full-Time, Ongoing Position We are seeking a skilled Barber to join our team on a full-time and ongoing basis. This role is ideal for an individual who is experienced, reliable, and dedicated to providing high-quality barbering services. The successful applicant will be required to start work immediately. Employment Details Minimum Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week Pay Rate: From $30 per hour Work Schedule: Between Monday and Sunday Location: Waikato and Auckland Skills and Experience Required Applicants must meet one of the following criteria: At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a barber; or A NZQF Level 4 or higher qualification in barbering or a related field. Internal training will be provided where required to ensure consistency with business standards. Key Tasks and Responsibilities The Barber will be responsible for performing the following duties, in line with ANZSCO 391111: Cutting, trimming, and styling hair according to client instructions and current trends Shaping and trimming beards and moustaches Shaving beards, necks, and facial contours using razors Colouring, curling, and straightening hair using appropriate products and equipment Consulting with clients regarding their hairstyle preferences and grooming needs Cleaning, sanitising, and maintaining barbering tools and work areas Keeping up to date with the latest grooming trends and techniques Ensuring a high standard of customer service at all times Complying with workplace health and safety requirements The employee may also be required to perform other reasonable duties as directed.
