Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and care
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
• Greet customers warmly, take their orders, and answer questions about menu items or specials
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and food handling with accuracy and integrity
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
• Ensure food safety standards are met by following proper food handling and sanitation procedures
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while maintaining quality service

Experience

• Prior barista experience or background in coffee preparation is highly preferred
• Demonstrated customer service skills in a retail or food service environment
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of basic math for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy
• Experience with food safety practices and food handling regulations within the food industry
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while maintaining a positive attitude

Pay: $18.16 - $19.48 per hour
