Job Description: We are currently hiring for the following positions: Barista, Cashier, floor staff.

Duties: Staff (based on position) will be expected to

• Take and manage customer orders in an accurate and timely manner.
• Utilize customer service skills to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Handle cash and credit transactions at the cash register.
• Have a broad understanding of the café to help answer customer questions.
• Have strong team-based skills to improve floor efficiency.
• Prepare cold and hot beverages consistently.
• Operate different appliances within the café to prepare menu items.
• Count, maintain and log ingredients and other items within the café.
• Maintain sanitation on café premises both in and out of the kitchen.
• Follow food safety guidelines while preparing food.
• Handle cash and credit transactions at the cash register.

Experiences:

• Minimum 1-2 years of working experience in a cafe (cashier, barista, kitchen staff)
• Minimum 1 year of customer service skills practiced in the working environment.
• Experience working in a team environment.
• Prior experience working with a POS system is an asset.
• Food Safe 1 Certification is an Asset
• Available to work both weekdays and weekends

*Applicants must be legally allowed to work in Canada.

Compensation: $18.50 & Starting with an opportunity to increase based on role and performance.

Schedule: We are currently looking for full-time and part-time employees (15 – 30 hours a week)
