Duties

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks with precision and care.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process transactions quickly and accurately.
• Engage with customers warmly, ensuring excellent customer service and a welcoming atmosphere.
• Manage food handling responsibilities including food safety practices and basic food preparation.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, adhering to food safety standards.
• Handle cashing out customers, managing cash handling procedures, and balancing registers at shift end.
• Assist with inventory management, restocking supplies, and ensuring efficient workflow during busy hours.

Qualifications

• Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is highly preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and active communication.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently across different shifts.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and accurate transaction processing.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and proper serving techniques.

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour
