Barista/Cashier

Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere for our customers, preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items with care. You'll be a key part of delivering excellent service and ensuring customer satisfaction through attention to detail. Additionally, you will flex into retail and register responsibilities as needed to support the team and keep our operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items with precision and care.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and restocking supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work atmosphere and enhance overall customer experience.
• Engage with customers to promote new products or specials, fostering a friendly relationship.

Qualifications

• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Familiarity with POS systems and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Previous experience in the food industry or retail is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and a passion for coffee culture are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
