Barista/Cashier

Job Description

Location: OPUS MALL, QUEZON CITY

The Barista Cashier is responsible for preparing and serving high-quality beverages while providing excellent customer service. This role combines barista duties with cashier responsibilities, ensuring smooth daily operations, accurate transactions, and a welcoming café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, milk teas, and other beverages according to company standards
• Operate the cash register/POS system and handle cash, card, and digital payments accurately
• Greet customers warmly, take orders, and respond to inquiries about menu items
• Maintain cleanliness of the coffee bar, counter area, equipment, and dining space
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times
• Handle customer concerns or complaints politely and professionally
• Assist with opening and closing duties, including cash counts and basic reports
• Work efficiently during busy hours while maintaining quality and service standards

Qualifications

• Vocational Degree or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality (or its equivalent)
• Previous experience as a barista, cashier, or in food & beverage service of at least 6 months
• Basic knowledge of coffee drinks and food handling (training will also be provided)
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to handle cash and perform basic math accurately
• Willingness to work flexible hours / mall hours, including weekends and holidays
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform light lifting
• Positive attitude, reliable, and team-oriented

Preferred Skills

• Experience using POS systems
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Attention to detail and cleanliness

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php695.00 per day
