Barista/Cashier

Job Overview:

Join our young & exciting team as a Barista/Cashier! We are a women owned, family run small local coffee shop in Buffalo, NY.

Must be available Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday & Sunday from 6:30am-3pm

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks following recipes with precision
- Welcome and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner
- Operate POS system to process orders and handle payments accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including the coffee bar and seating area
- Uphold high standards of quality control for all beverages served
- Assist in stocking and replenishing cafe items as needed

Requirements:

- Prior experience in customer service or the food industry preferred

- Previous barista experience is preferred
- Knowledge of retail math for handling transactions and making change
- Proficiency in using POS systems for order processing
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a busy setting
- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
- Passion for coffee and willingness to learn
- Excellent time management skills to ensure prompt service during peak hours
