Barista/Cashier Day Shift/ Night Shift (Part Time)

Position Summary

We are looking for a skilled and friendly Barista to join our team at Sweet Paris Creperie & Cafe. The Barista will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee and tea beverages, as well as maintaining a clean and welcoming environment for our customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Greet customers as they enter the restaurant and provide excellent customer service.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare and serve coffee, tea, and other beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate coffee-making equipment, including espresso machines, grinders, and frothers.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning equipment and sanitizing surfaces.
• Restock supplies and ingredients as needed.
• Handle cash and credit card transactions, ensuring accurate processing.
• Answer customer questions about menu items and make recommendations based on their preferences.
• Assist with food preparation and serving as needed.
• Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Knowledge of coffee and tea preparation techniques.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
