Barista/Cashier (Macao Imperial Tea - One Ayala Makati)

As a Barista at Macao Imperial Tea, you will be responsible for crafting and serving high-quality beverages and providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

1. **Beverage Preparation:**

- Prepare a variety of beverages, including teas, coffees, and specialty drinks, following Macao Imperial Tea's recipes and quality standards.

- Ensure the consistency and presentation of all beverages.

2. **Customer Service:**

- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and efficient manner.

- Answer customer questions about menu items and provide recommendations.

- Deliver exceptional customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.

3. **Cleanliness and Hygiene:**

- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including equipment and serving areas.

- Adhere to health and safety guidelines, including proper food handling and sanitation.

4. **Efficiency**

- Work quickly and accurately during busy periods to keep up with customer orders.

- Handle multiple tasks, such as taking orders, preparing drinks, and handling cash or card transactions.

5. **Product Knowledge:**

- Stay informed about Macao Imperial Tea's menu offerings, including seasonal items and promotions.

- Make suggestions and upsell additional items when appropriate.

Qualifications for Barista

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience as a barista or in a similar role is a plus but not always required; training may be provided.

- Passion for coffee and tea, with a desire to learn about different types of beverages.

- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations calmly.

- Attention to detail for beverage preparation and presentation.

- Basic math skills for handling cash and making change.

- Willingness to follow company recipes and standards.

As a Cashier at Macao Imperial Tea, your primary responsibility is to handle customer transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

1. **Transaction Handling:**

- Accurately process customer orders, including ringing up purchases, handling cash or card payments, and providing change.

- Ensure that all transactions are completed promptly and accurately.

2. **Customer Interaction:**

- Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.

- Answer customer questions about the menu, pricing, and promotions.

- Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or issues.

3. **Order Coordination:**

- Communicate orders to the kitchen or barista staff and ensure that orders are prepared correctly.

- Confirm that customers receive the correct items.

4. **Cash Register Maintenance:**

- Maintain the cash register and handle cash in accordance with company policies.

- Balance the cash register at the end of each shift.

Qualifications for Cashier

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus.

- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

- Accuracy and attention to detail in handling transactions.

- Basic math skills for cash handling and making change.

- Ability to operate a cash register or point-of-sale system.
