Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with skill and consistency.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities, including cash register operation, change distribution, and balancing daily transactions.
• Provide friendly, attentive customer service by taking orders, answering questions, and ensuring guest satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including food preparation stations and serving counters.
• Follow food safety standards and proper food handling procedures to ensure quality and compliance.
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches or snacks when needed to support efficient service.

Qualifications

• Prior barista experience with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and beverage presentation.
• Experience with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable.
• Strong time management skills to handle busy shifts effectively while maintaining quality service.
• Excellent customer service skills with a positive attitude and clear communication abilities.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and order accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in a café or food industry setting.

Pay: $21.64 - $26.06 per hour
