At The Speech Associates, we provide comprehensive ABA and Speech Therapy assessment and intervention in homes, schools, and daycare facilities in Toronto and the surrounding GTA. We are proud of our growing team of over 60 Speech-Language Pathologists and ABA Therapists! We are affiliated with the University of Toronto as Clinical Educators.

Our team uses Alayacare, an online software for managing client care and documentation. We provide our team members with clinical assessment tools and access to an online library of materials.

The Speech Associates is currently seeking for a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA/BCBA) to support our existing team! The RBA will be responsible for conducting assessments and supervising the implementation of applied behavior analysis programs for autistic children. This RBA will have a proven record of working as a team leader. The successful candidate will be in good standing with the CPBAO and be an approved Clinical Supervisor under the OAP guideline Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Conducting both functional and behavioral assessments
  • Collecting and graphing data
  • Providing hands on therapy to children in a variety of settings (1:1/in-home)
  • Provide ideas and input for new programming and initiatives
  • Taking part in the development and implementation of individual behavior plans with the therapists
  • Reports to work on time and coordinates schedule to achieve maximum performance standards according to company guidelines
  • Take on a training/mentoring role to new therapists
  • Preparation and development of programs and materials
  • Participation in team and parent meetings
  • Demonstrates superior customer service through professionalism, courtesy, consistent and timely follow- up, and positive communication

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A Certified BCBA and registered with CPBAO
  • 1-2 years of experience working as a supervisor
  • Practical experience with direct interaction and ABA play therapy with children diagnosed with Autism
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • Excellent collaborative attitude and willingness to mentor new staff members
  • Recent Police Check/Vulnerable Sector Screening (not older than 6 months)
