Benelux Logistics Intern

As a Logistics Excellence Intern, you will join the cross-segment logistics team of Benelux-ITR (International Travel Retail). This team is responsible for ensuring logistics operational excellence in daily operations (such as warehousing, transport, and co-packing) while maintaining cost efficiency for the long term. During this internship, you will work closely with the Logistics Cost Lead, Logistics Operations Lead, and project managers to implement and support tactical cost-saving projects, ensuring we stay cost-competitive.

What will you do?

• Analyze the financial aspects (investments, savings) of potential projects.
• Assist in prioritizing projects based on their benefits and complexity.
• Lead specific cost-saving projects from ideation to implementation.
• Engage with stakeholders to secure buy-in for key projects.
• Quantify the actual cost savings achieved and compare them with initial estimates.
• Identify and communicate risks and opportunities related to project execution.
• Present project progress monthly during team meetings.

Who are we looking for?

• Master’s student in supply chain, logistics, operations management, or finance.
• Availability of at least 4 days per week (this internship does not include a thesis opportunity).
• Strong analytical skills and a structured approach to problem-solving.
• Good communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Prior experience in project management is an advantage.
