About the Job:
In this newly created position, you’ll be part of a high functioning team, working to build and maintain our Business Intelligence environment.
You will be working with modern tools like Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, you’ll design dimensional models, enhance the quality of our data, and support the accessibility to a broader range of BI users, playing a key role in embedding data at the centre of how the business operates.
The Role

In this role you will:
  • Work closely with operational teams to understand their information needs and translate these into effective BI solutions
  • Develop and maintain dimensional models and curated datasets within our Water BI environment
  • Play a key role in the BI function by delivering crucial insights and analysis as needed.
  • Build insightful Power BI reports and help maintain the broader Water BI suite
  • Apply structured processes, robust design, and intentional implementations to ensure that full project benefits are achieved
  • Support BI users through training, documentation and day-to-day guidance.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the BI area and play an active role in enhancing our data and analytics capability, aiming to unlock profit enhancement opportunities.
What you’ll need:
  • You will have 2 plus years of experience as a BI Analyst
  • Strong skills in Power BI, SQL, DAX and M365 apps
  • Exposure to Microsoft Fabric an advantage
  • Strong skills in using fact and dimension tables to build Semantic models
  • Good proficiency in Excel
  • Strong capability in managing large data sets
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail and a proactive growth mindset
  • Focused on continual improvement and finding opportunities/solutions
  • An approachable and inquisitive nature to want to support and add value
