Bid Coordinator
Fehily Timoney & Company (FT) is one of Ireland’s largest Irish owned consultants with centres of excellence in Sustainable Infrastructure, Circular Economy, Environment and Renewable Energy. FT provides planning, design and contract management services for the construction of sustainable infrastructure projects such as roads, bridgeworks, greenways, airports, bus, rail, biomethane facilities, recycling facilities, solid waste facilities, battery storage, wind farms and solar farms.
FT is looking to recruit a Bid Coordinator to join our team in our Cork office. This opportunity offers the chance to have a high profile, varied role and cover a broad range of areas within the different sectors of FT.
Key Responsibilities
· To lead and coordinate bid management within the company.
· Responsible for identifying public tender and business opportunities.
· Management, support and coordination of the complete tender process, including tender identification, management approvals, completion of SAQs and pre-qualification documents and quality and commercial submissions.
· Lead the production of tenders for submission to FT clients within the defined tender periods, meeting submission deadlines.
· Tracking opportunities on the tender portals such as eTenders.
· Production and continual improvement of tender proposals, brochures, qualification and presentation material.
· Management of company social media accounts and company website.
· Develop and maintain the company tender tracking systems and metrics.
Skills / Qualifications
· Qualification in engineering or related field.
· 5 years post graduate experience.
· Highly motivated bid writer to lead, coordinate and secure work.
· Excellent communication, management and organisational skills required.
· Experience working and co-ordinating with technical specialists and engineers.
· Key requirements include efficient work methods, functioning both as part of team and on own initiative.
· Experience organizing and delivering complex tasks involving multiple parties within a short timeframe.
· Experience working in a Consulting Engineering or similar company would be a plus.
· Experience completing public sector tenders would be a plus.
