Bilingual Automotive Service Advisor

Duties and Responsibilities:

The Automotive Service Advisor/Tire Sales Specialist is part of an experienced, close-knit team who provide exceptional customer service at all levels. As a member of our team, the Automotive Service Advisor/Tire Sales Specialist is expected to:

  • Greet customers in person in a friendly, professional, and courteous manner.
  • Consult knowledgeably with customers and provide detailed product information on tires.
  • Place and manage sales orders for new tires, and book installation appointments.
  • Answer telephone calls and book appointments for a variety of automotive services and repairs.
  • Provide rates and information to clients with regards to various repair and maintenance services.
  • Create work orders, estimates, and invoices using garage software programs.
  • Liaise with the Garage Services Manager on a regular basis.
  • Interact professionally and respectfully with colleagues at all times. Demonstrate an attitude of collaboration and support.

Qualifications required:

  • Must be currently living in/near Montreal and eligible to work in Canada.
  • Minimum of high school education; some post-secondary education would be ideal.
  • Automotive knowledge/experience in a garage environment is preferred.
  • Minimum of three years work experience in face-to-face sales and customer relations.
  • Interpersonal skills: positive, even-tempered approach in interactions with clients and colleagues.
  • Professionalism, courtesy, and discretion with clientèle and with regards to their personal and confidential information.
  • Ability to develop and foster enduring relationships with customers.
  • Strong communication skills—perfect fluency in both English and French, spoken and written.
  • Experience using computerized client and product databases, and performing Internet searches.
  • Ability to learn and to work in a frequently fast-paced, high-energy environment.

Compensation: Competitive, based on experience. (Start date upon hire.)

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
