The BSNZ biomedical engineering programme provides full life cycle asset management that meets or exceeds all relevant Standards, including those of AS/NZS3551.

We seek to recruit a full time Biomedical Field Service Engineer based within the MidCentral/Manawatu/Taranaki/Hawkes Bay regions. This role is a full-time role – 40 hours per week.

The successful applicant will take on a leading role to ensure the efficient provision of a range of Biomedical services including, the testing and repair of medical devices to variety of client sites within these regions.

Regular travel with overnight stays within these regions will be required.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Biomedical/Clinical Engineering Industry (Preferred); utilising practical electronic skills
• Hold a formal NZ recognised qualifications in electronics/electrical engineering to diploma or degree level
• Strong customer focus with excellent verbal and interpersonal skills
• A working knowledge of Biomedical competencies, standards, skills and training
• Current registration as an Electrical Appliance Service Person or Electrical Service Technician with a current practicing license.
• Current clean Driver’s License
