About the Company
Our client is a leading construction rental company specializing in scaffolding and equipment rentals across the GTA. With a reputation for reliability, service, and industry expertise, we are looking to bring on a dynamic Branch Manager to drive sales, oversee operations, and lead financial performance at our Toronto branch.

Position Overview
The Branch Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership, performance, and growth of the Toronto branch. This individual will be equal parts sales leader, operational manager, and financial driver, ensuring the branch exceeds revenue and profitability targets while maintaining strong relationships across the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sales & Business Development

    • Drive revenue growth by actively engaging with existing and prospective clients in the construction industry.

    • Leverage strong industry connections in the Toronto construction market to generate new business opportunities.

    • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market share and client base.

  • Operations Management

    • Oversee daily branch operations including rentals, logistics, and service delivery.

    • Ensure safety, compliance, and efficiency in all aspects of operations.

    • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of staff, ensuring high performance and alignment with company goals.

  • Financial Management

    • Own the branch's P&L, including forecasting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

    • Monitor and analyze branch performance, identifying areas for improvement and driving profitability.

    • Report on key metrics and KPIs to senior leadership.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in a Branch Manager, Sales Manager, or Operations Manager role within the construction, equipment rental, or scaffolding industry.

  • A true sales leader with a track record of growing revenue and building lasting client relationships.

  • Strong operational management skills, with experience overseeing logistics, staff, and customer service.

  • Solid understanding of financial management, including P&L ownership, forecasting, and profitability analysis.

  • Established network and strong connections within the Toronto construction industry.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
