Norefjell Ski & Spa er et resort som ligger på høyfjellet (ca 800 moh), litt under 2 timers kjøring fra Oslo og Gardermoen. Her skapes gode opplevelser både ute i naturen og innendørs. Norefjell Ski & Spa ligger i fantastiske omgivelser med ski in - ski out for både langrenn og alpint i vintersesongen og med sykkel- og turmuligheter i alle vanskelighetsgrader resten av året. Innendørs har vi bl.a. et prisbelønnet spa med velværeavdeling, 16 m klatrevegg, basseng og treningsrom. For mat og drikke kan våre gjester velge mellom a la carte, buffet, lobbybar og pizzeria. Vi har suiter, leiligheter og dobbeltrom med en total kapasitet på 1.900 sengeplasser. I kongressalen har vi en kapasitet på inntil 650 personer. Norefjell Ski & Spa – Gode Opplevelser.
We are looking for breakfast / lunch sous chef, who have extensive experience in kitchen operations and are committed to quality and guest satisfaction. You can lead and motivate kitchen service in a nice and efficient way. You are used to a hectic and busy workdays.
Job description:
- Responsible for operating the hotel's kitchen at mainly morning/daytime .
- Personnel responsibility, training, development and follow-up of employees
- Follow-up of internal control systems
- Contribute to a good working environment and cooperation with colleagues in the kitchen and with various departments
- Produce food according to order
- Be a good role model and motivator for your employees.
- Develop menus together with head-chef
- Take part of stock-counts
We want you to have:
- You have at least 6 years of experience in the culinary profession
- Creative and "out of the box" thinking
- Good communication skills
- Are flexible, accurate and self-driven
- Demonstrate honesty and integrity in everything you do.
- Possess strong communication skills in English, a Scandinavian language is also an advantage
