Bricklayer / Mason Tender

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Bricklayer / Mason Tender to support masonry and construction projects on-site. This role involves assisting skilled masons with various tasks related to bricklaying and tuckpointing. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn and grow. Pay is determined by experience, open to hire both apprentice and experienced mason.

Responsibilities

• Assist masons with preparing and mixing mortar, concrete, and other materials for bricklaying and masonry work
• Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment safely and efficiently
• Maintain a clean and organized work site to ensure safety and efficiency
• Follow safety protocols at all times to prevent accidents or injuries on-site

Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and masonry equipment
• Familiarity with schematics and construction estimating is a plus
• Strong understanding of safety procedures related to construction sites
• Prior experience in masonry or related trades such as carpentry or roofing is advantageous
• Willingness to learn new skills related to restoration, renovation, or specialized masonry techniques

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.80 - $39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
