Business Development Executive (B2b – Automotive)

We are now looking for a Business Development Executive to help expand our B2B customer base and strengthen long-term commercial partnerships.

The Role

This role is suited to a commercially focused BDE who understands how B2B sales actually works — long sales cycles, multiple stakeholders, and relationship-led growth.

You will be responsible for identifying opportunities, engaging decision-makers, and managing accounts through the full sales process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new B2B opportunities within the automotive sector
  • Engage with car dealerships, automotive groups, distributors, and trade customers
  • Conduct outbound outreach (email, phone, LinkedIn) and attend meetings where required
  • Manage the sales pipeline from initial contact to onboarding
  • Prepare quotes, proposals, and commercial discussions with internal support
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales records
  • Build long-term relationships and repeat business, not one-off deals
  • Work closely with operations and product teams to ensure smooth delivery

What We’re Looking For

  • 1+ years’ experience in B2B sales or business development
  • Automotive industry experience preferred (dealerships, parts, accessories, OEM, aftermarket, fleet, or related)
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Comfortable speaking with decision-makers and senior stakeholders
  • Organised, reliable, and commercially minded
  • Able to work independently and take ownership of outcomes

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $54,972.25 – $124,325.58 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Mulgrave VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
