Business Internship Programme

Job Description

Our business internship programme focuses on the subscription side of the magazine. You will be assisting in the research and analysis for various subscription campaigns at The Caravan. As a business intern, you will:

• 
  Create, update and maintain databases for institutional subscriptions.
• Prepare business literature and advertising content, marketing our magazine archive.
• Come up with new ideas to reach out to potential subscribers and collaborators.
• Conduct research and analysis for advertising.
• Work with the marketing department in various reach-out programmes.
• Work closely with the various subscription and syndication initiatives.

Please note that this is not an editorial position, and traditional editorial tasks will only be a minimal part of the experience. We prefer candidates interested in media management, advertising, business development, strategising, sales and marketing.

The apprenticeship is full-time—from 11 am to 7 pm, Monday through Saturday. The Caravan requires a three-month commitment from their business interns.
