As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a driven, analytical, and collaborative leader to join our team as Business Operations & Growth Manager. This role bridges sales, marketing, and operations, ensuring alignment across departments and supporting the company’s ongoing growth and success.
Position Overview
The Business Operations & Growth Manager will play a key role in overseeing company performance, driving sales initiatives, and improving operational efficiency.
This position acts as a bridge between strategy and execution — working closely with the CEO and leadership team to align goals, optimize systems, and ensure consistent progress toward company targets.
This is a hands-on, data-driven role ideal for someone who can think strategically while remaining deeply engaged in the details of execution.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Marketing Leadership
- Collect, manage, and analyze sales and marketing data to determine lead requirements and performance benchmarks.
- Develop and implement sales plans and targets that align with company strategy.
- Create pricing structures, promotional campaigns, and sales policies to support revenue growth.
- Oversee lead generation and ensure timely, effective follow-up to maximize conversions.
- Monitor sales performance and provide regular analytical reports to the CEO and leadership team.
- Direct external marketing partners to strengthen the HFX Solar brand and achieve lead-generation goals.
- Identify and cultivate new customer relationships to expand market share.
- Gather and interpret market and competitor insights to inform strategy and product positioning.
- Use data analysis to prepare quarterly and annual sales forecasts and growth projections.
Operational Oversight & Business Growth
- Oversee daily operational performance at a strategic level to ensure efficiency and alignment across departments.
- Manage and monitor budgets, ensuring that financial and operational goals are met.
- Identify process bottlenecks, recommend corrective actions, and implement solutions for continual improvement.
- Collaborate with the CEO and leadership team to align operational strategies with company objectives.
- Develop and implement new operational policies, systems, and tools to support scalability.
- Track and analyze key business metrics such as conversion rates, revenue, and profitability.
- Research and implement technologies or process enhancements to improve workflow and communication across teams.
- Maintain awareness of relevant government programs, incentives, and policies that support growth opportunities.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Lead and motivate sales and operational teams to achieve performance goals.
- Recruit, train, and evaluate team members, fostering a culture of accountability and professional development.
- Work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and operations to ensure cohesive execution of company initiatives.
- Identify networking and partnership opportunities in key business sectors such as trades, real estate, and local business communities.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and innovation throughout the organization.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales, operations, or business management, preferably in renewable energy, construction, or a related technical field.
- Proven ability to achieve revenue and operational targets.
- Strong analytical and financial acumen with experience in forecasting, reporting, and budgeting.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience working cross-functionally with marketing and operations teams.
- Proficiency in CRM and project management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Asana, or similar).
- Understanding of solar or renewable energy systems is considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
