Cad Designer / Bim Specialist

Role Overview

KIN D+B is seeking a highly driven and technically competent CAD Designer / BIM Specialist to support the planning, technical development and execution of complex design-and-build projects across large-scale built environments, infrastructure-related works, fit-out developments and other major project environments.

This role plays a critical part in translating concepts and project requirements into precise technical drawings and coordinated BIM models to support project delivery, construction execution and stakeholder coordination. The successful candidate will work closely with internal project teams, consultants, contractors, production partners and external stakeholders in a fast-paced and dynamic project environment.

Key Responsibilities

CAD Drafting & Technical Development

• Prepare detailed 2D and 3D technical drawings using AutoCAD and related drafting software.
• Develop floor plans, elevations, sections, shop drawings, layouts, fabrication details and as-built drawings.
• Translate design concepts, project briefs and site requirements into accurate and buildable technical drawings.
• Prepare drawings for construction, fabrication, installation and coordination purposes.
• Review and update drawings based on design revisions, technical coordination requirements and site conditions.
• Ensure proper drawing management, revision control and documentation standards are maintained across projects.

BIM Modelling & Coordination

• Develop, manage and maintain BIM models using Revit and related BIM software.
• Support BIM coordination across architectural, structural, MEP, production and construction disciplines.
• Participate in clash detection, technical coordination reviews and model integration processes.
• Work closely with consultants, contractors and project stakeholders to resolve technical and coordination issues.
• Ensure BIM models and associated technical documentation remain accurate, updated and properly maintained throughout project stages.

Project & Site Coordination

• Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure drawings and models are aligned with project scope, timelines and site execution requirements.
• Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, fabricators, consultants and external stakeholders on technical details and drawing requirements.
• Attend site visits, technical meetings and coordination discussions where required.
• Conduct site measurements and verify site conditions to support technical accuracy and project execution.
• Support project teams during construction, installation and project handover phases.

Documentation & Compliance

• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, drawing registers and submission records.
• Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, site requirements, safety standards and relevant regulations.
• Support preparation of submissions for clients, consultants, authorities and other stakeholders.
• Maintain confidentiality and proper handling of project information and technical documentation.

Pay: $5,000.00 - $7,000.00 per month
