Cafe Manager

Cafe Supervisor

The Cafe Supervisor oversees daily operations, ensuring smooth service, high-quality customer experience, and staff efficiency. He/she is responsible for supervising and supporting team members, managing inventory, maintaining cleanliness, and upholding company standards and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Open and close the cafe, ensuring all procedures are followed.
  • Ensure all orders are prepared and served to quality standards in a timely manner.
  • Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints professionally.

Team Leadership:

  • Supervise, train, and mentor staff, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Schedule shifts and manage staff attendance.
  • Foster a positive and motivated team environment.
  • Conduct regular briefings to communicate goals, updates, or concerns.

Inventory and Supplies:

  • Monitor stock levels and reorder supplies as needed to avoid shortages.
  • Conduct regular inventory checks and ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Manage waste reduction and control costs.

Quality and Cleanliness:

  • Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Oversee cleanliness of the cafe, including equipment, dining areas, and restrooms.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure standards are consistently met.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Assist with daily cash handling, including monitoring cash registers and preparing cash deposits.
  • Track sales performance and suggest improvements for increased revenue.
  • Monitor and control operational expenses.

Customer Service:

  • Lead by example in providing excellent customer service.
  • Build relationships with customers to encourage loyalty and repeat business.
  • Implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and experience.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or leadership role, preferably in a cafe or restaurant setting.
  • Strong understanding of cafe operations and barista skills (preferred).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php30,000.00 per month

Benefits:

  • Staff meals provided

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift

Supplemental Pay:

  • 13th month salary
  • Performance bonus

Work Location: In person

Expected Start Date: 02/17/2025
