Hours Per Week: 6.00

Reliable, responsible and friendly support worker(s) required to work with our disabled young adult with complex care needs in the family home.

The role includes:

• Changing
• Dressing
• Tube feeding and medications via PEG
• Transfers and positioning in a wheelchair, standing frame and in bed
• Household tasks
• Interacting with our young adult

Skills:

• We require a healthy active person who is motivated and quick to learn new skills.
• You will have a high level of empathy for others.
• Good communication skills are essential.

Hours of work available are approximately 6.30-9.30am and 4.00-7.00pm weekends with additional work available during school holidays.

Part-time (6-12 hours per week).

Access to your own transport is required.

You will be working as part of a care team and training will be provided.
