We are seeking a Carpenter/Supervisor, who enjoys working outside, has strong work ethic, good teamwork skills and leadership experience.

Site Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Work closely with Project Manager

• Coordinate construction schedule and make sure the tasks and projects are completed on time

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and sketches

• Understand all rules, regulations, policies and local building codes (Ontario)

• Resolve work problems

• Manage on-site client communication and change request reporting

• Monitor job progress and provide regular progress reporting to management

• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay sub-flooring and install walls and roofing systems

• Fit and install trim, doors, stairs, mouldings and hardware

• Measuring, cutting and joining materials made of wood or wood substitutes

• Repairing and renovating wooden structures

• Inside finishing

Site Supervisor Requirements:

• Operate a variety of hand and power tools of all types: hammer, drills, chainsaws, skill saws, jack jammer * Installation of windows & doors, roof trusses, sheathing, hardware,

• Erect scaffolding and ladders; working at heights training is a requirement

• Ability to work independently

• Proven relationship management skills and ability to work independently

• Experience working a physical environment. Must be able to lift 80lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks

• Excellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skills

• Strong proficiency to Microsoft Office Suite and CoConstruct is an asset

• Valid Ontario driver’s license, as well as transportation to work.

• Minimum 2 years of experience required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
