What You’ll Do

As a Structural Exclusion Specialist, you’ll:

• Perform detailed inspections of residential and commercial properties to locate gaps, cracks, and design flaws that allow wildlife and pests inside
• Devise and execute tailored exclusion plans using wood, metal, masonry, and sealants
• Carry out precision carpentry work—patching siding, rebuilding fascia, fitting custom flashings, and more—with an emphasis on durability and clean finishes
• Access and work in confined or elevated areas (attics, crawlspaces, roofs, chimneys, porches, decks) to complete exclusion projects
• Collaborate with project managers to document findings, estimate materials, and ensure client satisfaction

Who You Are

• A seasoned carpenter, roofer, handyman, or building inspector with 3+ years of field experience
• Comfortable reading blueprints, schematics, and product specifications
• Adept at troubleshooting structural issues and thinking three-dimensionally about how components fit together
• Passionate about craftsmanship—nothing leaves your workbench until it’s right
• Physically fit and unafraid of heights, tight quarters, or heavy lifting
• Eager to apply your trade skills to a growing, mission-driven company

Must-Have Skills & Experience

• Proficiency with carpentry hand and power tools
• Solid knowledge of roofing systems, flashing, and exterior trim work
• Ability to diagnose foundation settling, gap migration, and siding transitions
• Previous experience with site remediation, framing adjustments, or retrofit projects
• Familiarity with exclusion techniques (rodent proofing, wire mesh installation, sealants) is a plus

Schedule & Location

• Full-time, in-person work
• Monday–Friday standard shifts; occasional weekends/overtime as needed
