Carpenter/Joiner

At O’Connor Woodwork we have a vacancy for a Carpenter/Cabinet Maker to join our team.

The successful candidate will be working on a number of commercial projects in the Munster Area , sites in Cork City and County

Pay will include wages and expenses for costs incurred getting to site. You will be joining a team of other qualified fitters

The role will involve fitting of specialized joinery and fitted furniture such as kitchens , wardrobes , wall panelling etc on our sites. This is a site based role.

Job Role

The successful applicant will be responsible for

• Fitting to the highest standard, all units and joinery items supplied by our workshop.
• Supervising other fitters or sub-contracted fitters who are working on the projects to ensure high standards are maintained.
• Ensuring any snags or defects are reported back to workshop through our online system Fieldwire
• Meeting the deadlines required.

You will be working on projects such as:

• School Fit outs,
• Primary Care Centers,
• Hospitals,
• Office Fit outs
• IPS Paneling and Cubicles

Requirements:

• At least 5+ years of experience in the fitted furniture/joinery sector
• Experience of working from shop drawings
• Own transport is crucial

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €40,000.00-€50,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

• Bonus pay
• Overtime pay

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
