We are seeking a Cashier!

Cashier’s Job description

A restaurant cashier's role encompasses receiving customer orders, conducting financial transactions, processing payments, issuing receipts, and meticulously recording sales in a dining establishment. The cashier ensures accurate order fulfillment for the best customer experience.

Responsibilities:

· Great each customer with a proper quality.

· Maintain knowledge of all menu options.

· Ensure the cash register is properly set up and ready for the service.

· Ensure orders are correctly taken and customers are served properly.

· Make sure the dining area and bathroom are clean all the time.

· Ensure utensils and supplies are fully stocked for the shift.

· Know and understand the menu.

· Understand and utilize the POS system.

· Respond to customer inquiries, issue receipts, and record customer suggestions.

· Tally money in the cash drawer at the beginning and end of each work shift

· Ensure adequate supplies (ribbons, paper, cash drop envelopes, receipts, etc.) are available for the shift.

· Retain receipts for all transactions and records and reconcile transactions.

· Run necessary reports, and complete comp, void, and tip sheets before the end of the shift.

· Understand, follow, and implement the store opening and closing procedures.

· Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

· High school diploma or equivalent qualification

· Good math skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Proven experience in a customer service role is an advantage.

· Previous cash handling and customer service experience

· Basic computer skills preferred.

· Must work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements:

· Prolonged periods standing and working on cash register or related equipment.

· Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.

· Ability to perform repetitive movements over long periods.

Salary,

· $15.00/hr+ Tip
