Cashier

The Cashier position plays a critical role in the customer experience at Applejack Wine & Spirits. We pride ourselves on providing fast, friendly, and accurate customer service. Cashiers process transactions and answer customer questions to ensure our customers leave feeling valued.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting every customer and assisting with the selection of products.
• Process transactions efficiently and effectively
• Verify customer identification documents and adhere to all policies around serving minors.
• Balance a cash register drawer requiring handling cash, checks, credit cards, and gift cards.
• Adhere to all safety and cleanliness policies and procedures.
• Complete TRIFT courses as assigned

Qualifications & Skills

• Provide excellent customer service.
• Lift and carry 40-60lbs.
• The ability to be on your feet for extended periods.
• Process financial transactions and handle cash.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Work well within a team atmosphere.

Requirements

• Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be 21 of age
• Must pass a background check
