Cashier / Sushi Chef

Are you interested in becoming a Chef at one of the best local sushi restaurant? We invite you to join MAKI SUSHI & NOODLE team! Please read the followings to learn more about your potential daily tasks.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain kitchen areas with special attention to sanitation
  • Exhibits culinary talents by performing day-to-day tasks, and assisting sushi chefs
  • Evaluate quality of food product, prep items and final menu items being served to guests
  • Monitor food temperatures, expiry dates and overall quality of the produces
  • Collaborate with servers and bar staff to welcome guests
  • Comply and action all health, food safety and hygiene standards and policies
  • Other duties may be assigned to assist Head Chef

REQUIREMENTS

Experience

  • Basic kitchen knowledge required

Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong communication skills in English
  • Energetic – ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Team player – assist in a positive guest experience however necessary
  • Culinary - have basic culinary knowledge and prepare ingredients based on the instructions

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.20-$24.00 per hour
