Cashier/Tea Maker

Type: Full-Time positions only (30-40hrs a week)

Position: Tea Maker, Cashier

Overview:

Join our dynamic team at TP Tea where we craft authentic and delicious teas while providing exceptional customer service to every guest. As a team member, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality beverages, maintaining a clean and welcoming store environment, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities for each role:

· Tea Maker

o Prepare and brew tea, while ensuring consistent quality and flavor.

o Make and prepare ingredients/toppings (i.e. boba, taro paste, jellies etc.) to ensure there is sufficient stock for drink orders.

o Lift and carry supplies (up to 50lbs), including but not limited to tea leaves, tea ingredients, toppings, and other inventory items.

· Cashier

o Greet customers warmly, answer customer questions, and provide recommendations to create a positive experience.

o Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace.

o Manage kiosk operations, process payments, and handle daily transactions.

o Prepare toppings for drink orders

General Responsibilities for all team members:

· Customer Service: Greet and Welcome customers.

· Stock Management: Refill ingredients and supplies as needed, ensuring the store is always ready for service.

· Cleaning and Maintenance: Keep the workspace clean and organized, including equipment, counters, and floors. Follow Health and Safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Qualifications:

· Enthusiastic and friendly demeanor with a strong passion for providing excellent customer service.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously, while having a positive, can-do attitude.

· Strong communication skills and works well with others to achieve common goals.

· Ability to follow instructions and pick up new skills quickly.

· Detail-oriented with a focus on speed and accuracy.

· Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.

· Sense of responsibility, eagerness to learn and embrace new challenges.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.

· Previous food & beverage experience preferred.

· Must be available to work on all Holidays. NO EXCEPTIONS

· Must be available to work 30-40 hours a week.
