Casual Catering Assistant - Aged Care | Taree

The role:
Cater Care seeks to appoint a Casual Catering Assistant at one of our key aged care residences in Taree.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring our residents enjoy nutritious, well-presented meals in a caring and supportive environment.

Roster: Various days and hours

What this role involves:
Assisting with food preparation, including salads, sandwiches, and texture-modified meals
Customer service - serving our residents meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Setting tables, plating meals, and supporting the chef with general kitchen duties

Skills and Experiences:
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Work effectively as part of a team to meet resident needs and service expectations.
Previous experience in aged care (preferred but not essential)
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
A reliable individual who has a genuine interest in working in aged care
