Description:
The role:
Cater Care Gather is looking for a Casual Catering Assistant to join our vibrant team at a leading education site in Ballarat, Victoria.

You’ll help prepare and serve meals, maintain a clean and safe kitchen, and provide friendly service to students, all while gaining valuable experience in a supportive and fast-paced environment.

Roster: Various days and hours

What this role involves:
Assisting with food preparation
Customer service - serving our students meals and snacks
Re-stocking as required, and after meal periods
Dishwashing and cleaning kitchen & dining areas
Maintaining food hygiene and safety practices
Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude

Skills and Experiences:
The ideal candidate will have:
Experience assisting in kitchens, food preparation and/or customer service
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
