Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with procedures, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Assist the dentist during various procedures, including restorations, extractions, and orthodontic treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
- Manage patient records using dental practice management software Tracker
- Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
- Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns or questions during visits
- Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information, supporting the dental receptionist role when needed
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols
- Assist with pediatrics cases, demonstrating patience and effective communication with young patients
Skills
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques with certification as a Dental Assistant
- Experience with dental practice management software including Tracker
- Knowledge of orthodontics procedures and materials
- Familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices and patient communication strategies for children
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
- Excellent interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care and support team collaboration
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
