A brand-new restaurant is opening in the heart of Haugesund this May—and we’re looking for 2 skilled chefs to join the opening team. This is a serious concept backed by the owner behind Kai Gata 1 Bar —a growing hospitality group with strong ambitions.
About the Concept We’re building a kitchen centered around open fire cooking, inspired by Argentinian and Spanish grill traditions. High-quality meat at the core Fire, smoke, and precision Simple, bold sides done right This is a place for chefs who want to work close to the product—and do things properly.
About the Role As part of the opening team, you’ll help shape both the kitchen and the culture from day one. We’re looking for chefs who: Have solid experience from professional kitchens Are confident with grill, fire, and meat-focused cooking Take pride in quality, structure, and teamwork Thrive in a fast-paced, ambitious environment Speak good English
The Restaurant & Ownership Located in central Haugesund, right by Kai Gata 1 Warm, lively atmosphere with a strong focus on food & drinks This is not just a standalone opening—it’s part of a growing setup with long-term potential and more to come.
