Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and passionate Chef to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in supporting the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in managing kitchen operations, ensuring high-quality food preparation, and maintaining a positive work environment. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a keen eye for detail, creativity, and a commitment to food safety. Responsibilities
- Ensure adherence to food safety and sanitation standards.
- Engage in daily kitchen operations, including inventory management and ordering supplies.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service during catering events and banquets.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and presentation in all dishes served.
- Ensure proper food handling techniques are followed to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
- Participate in special events, catering functions, and fine dining experiences as needed.
- Familiarity with knife and prep techniques preferred.
Key Character Traits:
- Proven experience as a Chef or in a similar role within the restaurant or catering industry.
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for kitchen management.
- Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide kitchen staff effectively.
- Experience with banquet service and managing large-scale catering events is preferred.
- Familiarity with fine dining standards and high-quality food preparation techniques.
- Consistently deliver perform with quality and cleanliness in mind.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members across departments.
