Chief Operations Officer

At Private Concierge Services Singapore ( www.privateconcierge.sg ) we provide lifestyle services in Singapore, providing high‑touch, bespoke services to an ultra‑affluent member base. Our offerings span luxury travel, fine dining access, wellness and medical facilitation, private events, and everyday lifestyle management.

Position Summary

The COO is responsible for leading all day‑to‑day operations of the club and concierge business, translating the Founder/CEO’s vision into a scalable, profitable and service‑obsessed operation. The role oversees concierge operations, member experience, partnerships, finance and people, ensuring consistently exceptional service for our members in Singapore and globally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategy & Leadership
  • Partner with the Founder/CEO to develop and execute the club’s growth and operations strategy.
  • Translate strategic goals into clear operational plans, KPIs and SOPs across all departments.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high‑performing management team (concierge, membership, operations, finance, marketing).
  • Operations & Service Excellence
  • Own all day‑to‑day operations of the concierge and club, ensuring seamless, proactive and personalised member service.
  • Design and continuously improve workflows, SOPs and tools for handling member requests (dining, travel, events, medical, lifestyle).
  • Ensure service standards are aligned with top‑tier luxury hospitality benchmarks and consistently met or exceeded.
  • Member Experience & Relationships
  • Champion a member‑first culture and act as a visible senior contact for key/VIP members.
  • Oversee member onboarding, retention and engagement initiatives to grow usage and satisfaction.
  • Monitor member feedback and NPS, lead service recovery and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Commercial & Financial Management
  • Own the P&L for operations; develop and manage budgets, forecasts and cost controls to achieve revenue and profitability targets.
  • Work closely with the finance team on reporting, cash‑flow management and KPI dashboards.
  • Identify and drive new revenue streams (membership tiers, partner deals, experiences) and margin improvement opportunities.
  • Partnerships & Ecosystem
  • Build and manage strategic relationships with luxury hotels, restaurants, travel partners, medical providers, event venues and other service providers.
  • Negotiate commercial terms to secure preferred access, benefits and pricing for members.​
  • Represent the club at key industry and partner events in Singapore and the region.​
  • People & Culture
  • Recruit, lead and retain top concierge and operations talent with a strong luxury service mindset.
  • Implement performance management, training and development programmes to upskill the team.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and discreet, white‑glove service.
  • Risk, Compliance & Governance
  • Ensure compliance with relevant Singapore regulations, data privacy, and health & safety standards.
  • Establish risk‑management processes for high‑value transactions, sensitive arrangements and member data.
  • Develop and maintain internal controls, policies and procedures for the club’s operations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management or related field; MBA is an advantage.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality, private clubs, concierge, lifestyle management or similar service‑driven environments, including at least 5 years in a senior operations or COO/GM role.
  • Proven track record running complex operations, driving service excellence and delivering strong financial results.
  • Deep understanding of luxury client expectations in Singapore/Asia and experience dealing with HNW/UHNW clientele.
  • Strong leadership, people management and organisational skills, with the ability to build and scale teams.
  • Exceptional communication and stakeholder‑management skills; comfortable interfacing with sophisticated members, partners and investors.
  • High level of integrity, discretion and professionalism; comfortable in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment.
