Early stage startup on a mission to significantly reduce cloud costs for startups and SMEs by using autonomous cloud cost optimization and AI driven cloud ops . The company is led by a senior founder team and funded by top-tier VCs. We're looking for a hands-on engineer at heart – someone who’s built teams and systems before, but still loves to code, architect, and get things done alongside other senior developers.

Your Role

• Define and own the technical vision, architecture and roadmap

• Design and implement scalable cloud optimization solutions across AWS, GCP and Azure

• Continuously train and refine AI models using aggregate customer data

• Build and lead a senior, high-performing engineering team

• Work closely with the founders on product strategy, vision, and execution

What You Bring

• Deep hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, Azure), cloud cost optimization , and FinOps concepts

• Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Terraform, observability stacks, and scalable architectures

• Proven ability to lead and build engineering teams in early stage startup environments

• Passion for building : you’re still close to the code , love solving problems, and enjoy shipping

• You’re based in Berlin or willing to work in an office-first setup with flexibility

• You're communicating fluent in English
