Childcare Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and caring Childcare Kitchen Assistant to join our daycare team. This role is essential in supporting the daily nutrition and well-being of the children in our care.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, heat, and serve breakfast, lunch, and afternoon snacks for children
• Assist with simple meal prep and portioning food safely
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment
• Follow food safety guidelines and center policies
• Support the cook and staff with kitchen-related tasks as needed

Qualifications:

• Previous food service or childcare experience preferred (but not required)
• Ability to work efficiently and maintain cleanliness standards
• Friendly, dependable, and team-oriented attitude
• Must meet state childcare center requirements (training or certifications as applicable)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $9.00 - $10.00 per hour
