Children’S Books Sales Associate

About the Role

We’re looking for enthusiastic, self-motivated individuals to promote and sell our range of high-quality children’s books within their local community and personal network.
This role is perfect for someone who loves reading, enjoys connecting with people, and wants flexible work that fits around family life, studies, or another job.

As a Sales Representative, you will introduce families, schools, early childhood centres, parent groups, Masjids, Madrassahs, community organisations, and other local networks to our engaging and educational children’s titles.
You decide when, where, and how you work and your earnings grow directly with your effort.

Key Responsibilities

• Promote and sell children’s books within your local area and personal network.
• Build and maintain relationships with parents, teachers, schools, early childhood centres, community groups, and local businesses.
• Attend school fairs, markets, community events, or online groups to showcase products (optional but beneficial).
• Provide product information, guide customers to choose the right books, and process orders.
• Meet agreed monthly sales goals to maximise your commission.
• Deliver excellent customer service and follow-up to encourage repeat sales.

What We’re Looking For

• Friendly, approachable, and confident when speaking with people.
• Self-motivated and comfortable managing your own schedule.
• Passionate about children’s education, storytelling, and literacy.
• Strong local network (parents, schools, sports clubs, community groups, etc.) is a bonus.
• Basic digital skills for sharing products online and communicating with customers.
• Sales experience is helpful but not required full support and training are provided.

Earnings & Benefits

• Uncapped earning potential — the more you sell, the more you earn.
• Part-time representatives typically earn NZD $1,050 – $6,300+ per month, depending on effort and sales volume.
