Class 4 Lorry Delivery Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Class 4 vehicle to transport goods to and from assigned destinations.
• Load and unload cargo safely and securely.
• Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products according to daily schedules.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues.
• Maintain accurate delivery records, logs, and paperwork.
• Adhere to all traffic laws, road safety regulations, and company policies.
• Provide friendly and professional service when interacting with customers or clients.
• Assist with warehouse duties when required (e.g., sorting, packing).
• Report delivery issues, delays, or customer feedback promptly to the supervisor.

Qualifications:

• Valid Class 4 Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience driving Class 4 vehicles in a commercial delivery setting.
• Good knowledge of local roads, routes, and traffic patterns.
• Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy packages.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Basic reading and math skills for interpreting delivery documents.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in logistics, courier, or e-commerce delivery.
• Familiarity with using route navigation apps and delivery tracking systems.
• Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: $2,400.00 - $5,000.00 per month
