YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSABILITIES:


We are offering a 6-month Climate Philanthropy internship starting in September 2025 at AXA Headquarters to help disseminate and promote the value of supported research on climate and environment.

Location : 25 avenue Matignon, 8th arrondissement Paris.

Within the AXA Group Brand, Communication, Media and Sustainability Department, the AXA Research Fund is the science philanthropy initiative of the AXA Group that aims to support researchers in the areas of climate & environment, health, socio-economics & new tech risks.
It is part of the broader AXA Foundation for Human progress that gathers all philanthropic engagements supported by AXA Group and Mutuelles d’Assurances AXA Foundation for Human Progress | AXA

Since 2008, the AXA Research Fund has supported over 740 projects led by scientists in over 340 leading universities in 39 countries. The AXA Research Fund supports human progress by accelerating research in key areas related to risk, and disseminating it to help inform public and private decision-making based on science

What You’ll Do


Insights Valorization & Thought-Leadership :

In close collaboration with the Climate & Environment Research Partnership Manager, the intern will play a key role in promoting the value of scientifically funded projects and advancing AXA's thought leadership in Climate & Environment.
The key responsibilities include:
  • Leading the production of a White papers with the support of a scientific journalist.
  • Creating thematic notes on research and societal topics related to climate & environment.
  • Crafting compelling content to effectively showcase the outcomes of funded projects.
Providing support to the team as needed, including event organization, content writing, and operational assistance.

ARF Impact study and reporting:
Furthermore, the intern will be involved in impact assessment of ARF activities, including conducting a 2024 impact study for the ARF 2024 Activity report and assisting in evaluating the AESI reporting activity.

Who You Are

You are currently doing a Master in Business, or Communication School with a strong interest/knowledge in Climate & Environment topics, Sustainable Development, Innovation Management, Engineering School with a strong interest in communication and conviction on the role of science.

The position requires the following:
  • Intellectual curiosity in cross-disciplinary dimensions of environmental challenges
  • Analytic and writing skills, sense of impactful communication and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent command of English and French both written and oral
  • Strong project management skills with excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Advanced computer skills full command of Microsoft 365 suite, experience in AI, social media tools is a plus.
  • At ease in a multi-cultural working environment
  • Dynamic, autonomous, and proactive team player, at ease with multitasking and double reporting.
  • First long-term internship experience is a plus.
