Closing Barista - Crowfoot

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and customer-oriented Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for crafting high-quality beverages, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. This role requires a blend of creativity, efficiency, and attention to detail to ensure that every customer has an exceptional experience.

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and standards.
• Operate coffee brewing equipment and maintain cleanliness of all machines.
• Handle cash transactions accurately while ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Assist in food preparation and ensure adherence to food safety standards.
• Maintain inventory levels of coffee beans, milk, syrups, and other supplies; restock as necessary.
• Provide friendly and efficient service to customers while taking their orders and answering any questions they may have.
• Keep the work area clean and organized, including washing dishes and cleaning countertops.
• Collaborate with team members to create a positive work environment.

Skills

• Proficient in cash handling with strong basic math skills for accurate transaction processing.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently handle multiple orders during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food handling practices to ensure safety and compliance with health regulations.
• Experience in food preparation within the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills with a genuine desire to help customers find their perfect beverage choice.
• Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanor.
