Studyverse – where balance builds brilliance
Turn stress into structure by studying smarter, not harder.
Students at top universities like KTH, Oxford, or Harvard push themselves to excel — facing expectations from both themselves and others. In pursuit of high goals, many end up setting standards so extreme that the body reacts with stress: either by procrastinating before the work even begins, or by collapsing into burnout afterward, and when they try to cope they often jump between countless productivity apps and wellness tools — but few, if any, combine both performance and well-being in one place.
Studyverse is changing that.
We're building an AI-powered study ecosystem that unites productivity, learning, and well-being into a single experience.
A calendar that keeps track of your habits and warns you of potential burn out or procrastination.
An AI that will assist by suggesting subgoals to overwhelming tasks as well as organizes flashcards according to relevance based on users feedback streamlining the study process.
A study timer that encourages commitment through fun and creative user interface.
An exam question organization tool that groups similar questions across several exams together as well as exam analyzation that recognizes frequently occurring topics, key points across papers and recommends an appropriate course of action for study.
Everything is connected, adapting to how you feel and how you perform.
We believe in one simple truth: Health is the foundation of performance.
Studyverse is still at an early-stage, and things are moving fast — but the opportunity to shape something meaningful is huge.
ABOUT STUDYVERSE
Studyverse is a KTH Innovation–connected startup developing a digital study companion that helps students find balance, focus, and joy in their learning. Our mission is to help learners worldwide achieve academic success without sacrificing their well-being.
The global EdTech market is valued at over $400 billion, yet few tools bridge the gap between performance and mental health — this is where Studyverse makes a difference.
By combining AI-driven insights, motivational design, and smart study tools, we're transforming how students approach learning and long-term success.
WHAT WE HAVE ACCOMPLISHED
- Built a functional prototype.
- Gained the support of Björn Liljeqvist – Mensa chairman and renowned study-technique expert – who plans to promote the platform once completed.
- Developed core features: smart calendar, analytics dashboard, goal tracking, flashcards, AI-based insights, and mock exams.
- Partnered with KTH Innovation for early-stage guidance and strategy.
- Started receiving feedback from the first group of early access testers.
- Showcased at Armada, KTH's largest career fair.
YOUR ROLE — FOUNDING FULLSTACK ENGINEER
As a founding developer, you will be responsible for shaping the technical foundation of Studyverse from the ground up.
You will:
- Build and scale core features in Node.js, TypeScript, React, and Next.js

- Work closely with the design, AI, and product founders to define product direction
- Prototype, iterate based on user feedback, and help us find product–market fit
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership, loves solving real problems, and wants to build something meaningful from the earliest stage.
THE JOURNEY AHEAD
We are preparing for MVP launch and deeper user testing. You'll be directly involved in building:
- Smart reminders & advanced focus-blocking tools
- Improved app performance & animations
- Audio features in the file bank
- More advanced analytics & AI-driven coaching
- Experiments around pricing, onboarding, and product–market fit
This is the moment where your decisions will shape the future of the product.
WHAT WE OFFER
As a co-founder, you'll gain real ownership and influence — both technically and strategically.
We offer:
- Equity-based compensation at the start
- Possibility of salary once funding is secured
- Flexible hours (typically 10–20h/week until funding, then scaled)
- A chance to build something impactful in EdTech with global potential
- Creative freedom, rapid learning, and a highly collaborative team
This is a rare opportunity to join early, when your code and ideas still shape the entire product.
Skills & Requirements
You have experience with — or strong motivation to learn — the technologies we use:

- Have interest in learning, productivity, or student well-being
You don't need to match every skill — we value mindset, drive, and willingness to grow.
WHY JOIN
Because this isn't just another productivity app — it's a movement toward healthier, more sustainable learning worldwide.
At Studyverse, you'll join a small team with backgrounds in engineering physics, AI, and UX. We value:
- Open, honest communication
